Ego.-Noun the “I” or self of any person; a person as thinking, feeling, and willing, and distinguishing itself from the selves of others and from objects of its thought.
Reality seems to feed on this misconception that we all are separate in terms of our existence. We tell ourselves , these thoughts are me, no one else feels my feelings or my thoughts. This thought process allows thoughts of superiority, selfishness and violence.
Everyday I slowly kill off a piece of my ego in hopes that one day it will cease to exist and the only thing left would be compassion for all living things.
